Upgrading Totara Learn’s content marketplace with 16,000+ courses for business, creative, and technology topics.
Quality educational digital content has been one of the key challenges across industries since long. To overcome this, businesses invest heavily in third-party content providers and subscribe to services like LinkedIn Learning. But it is also true that these businesses need to consistently build their in-house content and host live sessions to ensure that all the employees are up to date with the latest compliances, products, and other organisation-centric training. This is where the integration of Totara Learn and LinkedIn Learning comes into play that allows centralization of content and learner reports. To make use of this seamless integration, Totara 15 Learn needs to be setup along with a Professional LinkedIn Learning subscription.
This integration allows importing and browsing content from LinkedIn Learning to Totara Learn. Learners can explore and access LinkedIn Learning courses from within Totara Learn, which in turn includes completion and tracking of this learning in Totara reports.
This integration also supports single sign-on (SSO), which means that once a user logs in to Totara Learn, they won’t have to login to LinkedIn Learning separately to access content. SSO authentication eliminates the requirement for manual user registration, which decreases friction for users and administrators. SSO also means that learners will have to spend less time remembering the usernames and passwords and more time watching content.
